We are glad to repair and re-ridge. Keeping a good roof sound between full re-thatches, and catching a worn area before it lets in the wet, is sensible and satisfying work.

We lay each roof to suit the building. The material, the pitch and the ridge all matter. We look at the roof, advise and work in keeping with the building, honestly and without fuss.

We work by hand. Preparing the bundles, dressing the coatwork, laying and fixing, cutting the ridge, step by step, up on the roof, in all weathers. It is skilled, physical work, and that is exactly where the difference lies.
